Recommendation
Adopt a resolution establishing the amended 2026 City Council Calendar by correcting the regular September 2026 meeting dates to September 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026.

DISCUSSION:
On November 4, 2025, the City Council adopted Resolution R2025-114, which established the City Council meeting calendar and City Holidays for the year 2026 including the cancellation of the meetings of July 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026.
City Charter Section 60 and Napa Municipal Code Section 2.04.050 state regular meetings of the City Council are set for the first and third Tuesday of every month, unless modified by resolution of City Council.
Following adoption of Resolution R2025-114 a clerical error was identified on the calendar for the September 2026 meeting dates in which they were scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, not the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
Staff has prepared a resolution for Council approval to correct the September meeting date schedule.
Staff requests adoption of the resolution, to implement the 2026 Calendar for Regular City Council Meetings and City Holidays as presented, or direction to staff as to the City Council’s desired revisions.

None.

The City Clerk has determined that the recommended action described in this agenda report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c).
