Receive the Treasurer’s Quarterly Investment Report on the City’s investment portfolio for the period ending March 31, 2026.

DISCUSSION:
The purpose of this report is to provide the City Council with the treasurer’s quarterly report on the City’s investment portfolio for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, as outlined by the Government Code 53646(b) (1). All local agencies are required to file regular financial reports with their legislative body on the status of their investment portfolio. One of the roles of the City’s Finance Department is to manage investments of the City to ensure that cash flow needs are met while maximizing the investment portfolio.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. The attached reports are for informational purposes on the effects of current market conditions on the City’s investment portfolio.
CEQA:
The Finance Director has determined that the Recommended Action described in this Agenda Report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c).
