Tyler Technologies, Inc. Contract Amendment for Energov Software Implementation

Approve and authorize the Assistant City Manager to execute on behalf of the City Amendment No. 8 to Agreement No. C2020-058 with Tyler Technologies, Inc. for additional implementation and project management services in the increased amount of $70,400 ($30,400 in one-time fees and $40,000 in recurring fees) for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,585,852.

DISCUSSION:
On November 2, 2021, the City Council approved Resolution No. R2021-106 authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract amendment to C2020-058 with Tyler Technologies, Inc. to provide Energov software, hardware and implementation services to upgrade the City’s software for land management including development permit processing.
Beginning in 2022, Representatives from the City Manager’s Office, the Community Development, Public Works, Fire, and Utilities Departments have been engaged in the implementation of this new software program and the city has hired a part-time staff person to provide overall project management.
Agreement C2020-058 covers all Tyler Services, however, today’s proposed amendment will include additional implementation and project management time to allow for a more successful roll-out.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS:
No impact to the General Fund. Funding for this amendment is available in the project budget 40lLANDMGMT-SERVICES-63013620-53250.
CEQA:
The Assistant City Manager has determined that the Recommended Action described in this Agenda Report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060 (c).
