Approve the second reading and adoption of an ordinance amending Napa Municipal Code Section 2.08.090(A) regarding the designation of appointive officers in the City Manager’s Office.

DISCUSSION:

This is the second reading and final adoption of an ordinance amending Napa Municipal Code Section 2.08.090(A) regarding the designation of appointive officers in the City Manager’s Office.

 

The introduction and first reading of the ordinance was held at the Regular City Council meeting on March 3, 2026. If approved the ordinance will become effective thirty days following adoption.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACTS:

No additional funding beyond what has already been approved in the City Budget.

 

CEQA:

The Human Resources Director has determined that the recommended action described in this staff report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c).
