Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. C2023-183 with American Sanitation, Inc. on behalf of the City for servicing and supplying ADA accessible portable restrooms at various locations around the City of Napa in the increased amount of $75,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $275,000

DISCUSSION:

The City of Napa utilizes the services of American Sanitation Inc. which includes the rental and servicing of portable restrooms located at parks and portable restrooms at special events. In addition to renting portable restrooms, American Sanitations Inc. provides servicing and pump out of permanent “vault style” restrooms. These services are used by several departments including Parks, Recreation and Utilities.

 

The City of Napa entered into an agreement with American Sanitation Inc. on October 5th, 2023, with a not to exceed contract amount of $125,000 for the services described above. In February of 2024 Amendment No.1 was executed, adding an additional $75,000 to existing contract. Staff have determined the need for additional services to support the use of portable restrooms at special events and in city parks.

 

This amendment is necessary to continue to provide portable restrooms and services to permeant restrooms at various locations in the City of Napa.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACTS:

Sufficient funding is available within the current budget.

 

CEQA:

The Public Works Director has determined that the Recommended Action described in this Agenda Report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c).
