Recommendation
Appoint a City Council Voting Delegate and up to two Alternates to the General Assembly at the League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo held October 16 - 18, 2024.

DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities’ Annual Conference will be held during October 16 - 18, 2024. At the League’s General Assembly, scheduled on the last day of the conference, voting delegates from the state’s cities consider and act on resolutions that establish League policy.
Councilmembers Luros and Painter are scheduled to attend the conference.
To participate in the establishment of League policy, City Council must designate a voting delegate to participate in the vote. City Council may also appoint up to two alternates who may vote in the event the designated voting delegate is unavailable.
The City Clerk must provide the delegate information to the League no later than September 25, 2024.
