Approve second reading and final adoption of an ordinance rescinding R2008-80 and R2019-076, and amending Napa Municipal Code Chapter 2.104, Modifying the Current Delegation of Authority to Settle Government Tort Claims and Workers’ Compensation Claims, and Delegating the Submittal of Employer Generated Industrial Disability Applications.

DISCUSSION:

This is the second reading and final adoption of an ordinance rescinding R2008-80 and R2019-076, and amending Napa Municipal Code Chapter 2.104, Modifying the Current Delegation of Authority to Settle Government Tort Claims and Workers’ Compensation Claims, and Delegating the Submittal of Employer Generated Industrial Disability Applications.

The introduction and first reading of the Ordinance was held at the Regular City Council meeting on March 18, 2025. If approved the Ordinance will become effective thirty days following adoption.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACTS:

None.

 

CEQA:

The City Manager has determined that the Recommendation Action described in this staff report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060 (c).
