League of California Cities 2025 Voting Delegate and Alternate

Recommendation
Appoint one City Council Voting Delegate and one Alternate to the General Assembly at the 2025 League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo.

DISCUSSION:
The League of California Cities’ Annual Conference will be held during October 8 - 10, 2025. At the League’s General Assembly, scheduled on the last day of the conference, voting delegates from the state’s cities consider and act on resolutions that establish League policy.
Councilmembers DeNatale and Painter are scheduled to attend the conference.
To participate in the establishment of League policy, City Council must designate one voting delegate to participate in the vote. City Council may also appoint up to two alternates who may vote in the event the designated voting delegate is unavailable.
The City Clerk must provide the delegate information to the League no later than September 24, 2025.

None.

The City Clerk has determined that the recommended action described in this agenda report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c).
