Approve the second reading and final passage and adopt an Ordinance amending Napa Municipal Code Section 2.08.090 regarding the designation of appointive officers in the City Manager’s Office.

DISCUSSION:

This is the second reading and final adoption of an Ordinance amending Napa Municipal Code Section 2.08.090 regarding the designation of appointive officers in the City Manager’s Office.

 

The introduction and first reading of this Ordinance was held at the Regular City Council meeting on October 17, 2023.  If approved the Ordinance will become effective thirty days following adoption.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACTS:

No additional funding beyond what has already been approved in the City Budget. The position of Management Analyst I/II was previously approved on June 20, 2023 during the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2023/24 and Fiscal Year 2024/25 Budget via Resolutions R2023-077 and R2023-078.

 

CEQA:

The Human Resources Director has determined that the recommended action described in this staff report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c).
