Amendment to Agreement for Dispatch Recorder System

Approve and authorize the Chief of Police to execute on behalf of the City an amendment to Agreement No. C2019 113 with Goserco, Inc. for Public Safety Dispatch 24-hour Communications Recorder System support for one year (FY 24/25), in the increased amount of $15,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $175,000

DISCUSSION:
Goserco, Inc. implemented the Eventide NexLog Dispatch Recording System in 2019 and has provided a high level of system support services since implementation.
On April 30, 2019 the Council approved a five (5) year agreement not-to-exceed $160,000.
The 9-1-1 Communications Manager has identified that an amendment to the agreement is needed to acquire continued system support and maintenance services for FY 24/25 and recommends the City Council approve and authorize the Chief of Police to execute an amendment to increase the total not-to-exceed amount from $160,000 to $175,000 by adding $15,000.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS:
Funding for this agreement is available within the budget allocation for the Police Department follows:
Total not-to-exceed for FY 24/25: $175,000

CEQA:
The 9-1-1 Communications Manager has determined that the Recommended Action described in this Agenda Report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060 (c).
