Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a five (5) year Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement with SHI International Corporation for a total contract amount of $1,630,000.00.

DISCUSSION:
The SHI International Corporation Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) provides the City of Napa with the best value to purchase Microsoft cloud services and software licenses under one agreement. The first annual payment will be $308,448.00 and includes software licensing for all current desktop operating systems, and Office Productivity Suite for 600 users with a total agreement cost of $1,575,480.00 over the course of five years. Over the life of the agreement, additional software licenses may be required to meet the changing technology needs for the City of Napa. This may occur through the addition of users and/or the addition of new technology systems. If additional users or systems are added over the life of the agreement the total agreement cost will not exceed $1,630,000.00.
FINANCIAL IMPACTS:
Funding for this contract over the next five years is available in the City Manager’s Information Technology Software Subscriptions budget:
