Approve the second reading and final passage, and adopt an ordinance amending Section 2.04.110 of the Napa Municipal Code relating to the compensation of the Mayor and Council.

DISCUSSION:

This is the Second Reading and Final Adoption of an ordinance amending Section 2.04.110 of the Napa Municipal Code relating to the compensation of the Mayor and Council.  The introduction and First Reading was held at the Regular City Council meeting on December 19, 2017.  If approved, the Ordinance will become effective thirty days following adoption, and the operative date of this ordinance will be the date on which any member of Council begins a new term of office following the November 2018 General Municipal Election.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACTS:

The costs associated with the changes to the City Council compensation are accommodated in the adopted FY 2017-19 budget.

 

CEQA:

At their regular meeting on December 19, 2017, City Council determined that the Recommended Action described in the Agenda Report is not subject to CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378.
