Appoint Peter Mott to the Napa Sanitation District Board for a four-year term beginning immediately and ending January 31, 2023.

COMPOSITION AND PURPOSE OF THE COMMISSION
The Napa Sanitation District Board is the governing body of the Napa Sanitation District. The Board is the decision-making body concerning District policies, projects and budgets and reviews policies and makes recommendations concerning matters involving wastewater collection, treatment, disposal, and beneficial reuse of water and biosolids. It is the mission of the Napa Sanitation District (NSD) to collect, treat, beneficially reuse, and dispose of wastewater in an effective and economical manner that respects the environment, maintains the public's health and meets or exceeds all local, state and federal regulations. The NSD Board is composed of five members: two City of Napa Council members, one of which is the Mayor; one Napa County Board of Supervisor; and two members of the public, one each appointed by the City and the County. Terms are for a period of four years.
NUMBER AND TIMING OF VACANCIES INCLUDING SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
There is one vacant "member of the public" seat that was previously held by Mary Luros who was elected to City Council effective December 3, 2018. The term expiration for that seat was January 31, 2019.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The City Clerk accepted applications for the Committee from January 2, 2019 through January 25, 2019. Recruitment announcements were published on the City's website, posted at City Hall, and sent to the Napa County Library, Napa Valley College, Napa Chamber of Commerce, Napa Valley Unified School District, Napa County Board of Supervisors, Napa County Administration, Napa County Hispanic...
