DISCUSSION:
Housing has continued to be a top Council priority. The purpose of this presentation is to provide City Council with an overview of housing in the City of Napa and provide an update on the various efforts and programs the Housing Division provides countywide. The presentation will provide information on housing related topics including:
• City of Napa’s housing stock (affordable and market rate)
• The affordability of housing in Napa
• Housing services provided by the City and by the Housing Authority of the City of Napa
• Funding for affordable and workforce housing
• Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) requirements and the City’s progress on meeting its RHNA requirements
• The pipeline of housing projects
• Accomplishments to encourage housing production
• Anticipated next steps
FINANCIAL IMPACTS:
No funding appropriations are necessary for this report.
