Proclaim May 2022 as Older Adults Month.

DISCUSSION:
Older Adults Month was first established in 1963 and serves as a time to acknowledge the contributions of past and current older persons in our country. This year the theme of Older Adults Month is “Age My Way” and serves as an opportunity to explore the many ways older adults can remain in and be involved with their communities for as long as possible. The proclamation will also recognize the importance of communities supporting programs and initiatives to be more age-friendly.
