RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommendation

Authorize the Executive Director, on behalf of the Housing Authority, to take the necessary actions to release a Quality Improvement and Repair Grant Agreement between the Housing Authority and Family Service of Napa Valley recorded on July 2, 2004 in the amount of $6,050 from title to real property owned by Mentis (formerly Family Services of the North Bay and Family Service of Napa Valley) at 709 Franklin Street in connection with Mentis' sale of the property.

The Agreement required Family Service of Napa Valley to continue to provide family counseling services to low-income families during the five-year term. Staff has determined that Mentis' predecessor satisfied the terms of the 2004 Agreement and recommends that the Housing Authority release the 2004 Agreement from title.

This action authorizes the Executive Director to take the steps necessary to release this document from title to the Franklin Street property so that Mentis can proceed with the sale of 709 Franklin Street.
